Its not the best response, however it is a damn sight more than anyone else has got if we are honest. The odds were always against us, but time after time we have got results and this is not the end.. far from it.

We will now go back to the OFT requesting that this be released to the public and then we will get back in contact with all our press contacts to push the issue further.

If we cant beat them, then we can sure make a nuisance of ourselves until action is taken.

Just to update you on the above matter. With regard to your complaint I can confirm that following a detailed investigation the OFT imposed formal requirements on Firstplus to comply fully with policies and procedures disclosed to the OFT to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and the OFT's second charge lending guidance in respect of its interest rate variation policies. A copy of the requirements imposed on Firstplus by the OFT can be accessed by this link www.oft.gov.uk/OFTwork/credit/enforcement-action/#named1 and are attached below. We have taken the decision at the moment that it was not necessary to require the specific policies and procedures to be made public.
